SDWF at Feile na Sionna and Doonbeg Seafood Festival

SDWF contributed to local events in July in Doonbeg and Kilrush.

As part of Feile na Siona SDWF hosted activities for children at the Shannon Dolphin and Wildlife Centre including face painting and games. Children coloured their own dolphin which was made into a mobile to take home with them. French researcher Florence Erbs was master face painter, with Kerstin Voigt and Joanne O'Brien master of ceremonies.

In Doonbeg Simon Berrow delivered a workshop of whales and dolphins in Doonbeg National School. Using skulls, models and games he tried toopen up the world of dolphins to adults and childen.

Both events were a great successand SDWF were hapy to contribute.
