Shannon Dol-fun 2005: Marine theme costume competition

As part of Shannon Dol-fun 2005 the SDWF are organising a costume competition. All those interested are encouraged to make a costume inspired by the marine life in the Shannon estuary. A parade and prize giving is on 1 May at 2:00pm at the Shannon Dolphin and Wildlife Centre, Kilrush.

As part of the second annual Shannon Dol-fun the marine costume competition is open to all and especially schools. There will be three categories:

1) 1-3 Class 2) 4-6 Class and 3) Special Needs

Prizes for the winners and the participating schools will be awarded by a very special guest after a Marine Parade at the Creek Marina, Kilrush.

This event is sponsored by the Heritage Council and organised in collaboration with the Kilrush Dolphin Gateway Project.
